Good access to SharePoint servers

When working with SharePoint as a team and file management system the greatest usage obstacle is often that it is too complicated and takes too long to connect between Office and SharePoint. This can easily be solved by integrating the add-on Office2Share by TM Software.

With this add-on a bottom is created in Office linking Office software and SharePoint servers directly. The user can now open files directly from the SharePoint server or save the file directly to a particular SharePoint folder.

Office2Share´s main features 

Connects to preferred SharePoint sites

Office2Share can be connected to any SharePoint site that the user has access to. When a new SharePoint site is created the user sees all accessible folders and files. The user can connect to many SharePoint servers at the same time. 

Open files from SharePoint server 

With Office2Share files can be opened directly from the SharePoint server with only one action.  The user then receives a simple interface for the inserted SharePoint sites and can easily find the files he/she is searching for. 

Save file on SharePoint server

Files can also be saved on SharePoint servers with one simple click if the user has the correct access rights for the site

Insert material on SharePoint server 

Office2Share offers the possibility to insert pictures or links directly from SharePoint server to files that are in use. This simplifies e.g. work on PowerPoint shows as pictures or other material can be directly collected from a central PowerPoint document library or SharePoint picture library. 

Create new libraries or sites on SharePoint server

In Office2Share interface users can create new libraries, new folders in libraries or even new sites on the SharePoint server, that is if they have the correct access rights. This makes it much easier for users to organise the structure of their data on the SharePoint servers, without having to stop working within their file in Office 2007 software.
